Home Safety & Accessibility Consultations (Virtual Walkthroughs)
Your home should be a place of comfort, not risk. As we age, or as mobility and health needs change, small details in the home environment can make a big difference in independence and safety. That’s why I offer virtual home safety and accessibility consultations, designed to help you identify and address potential hazards before they become problems.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Schedule a Virtual Walkthrough – We’ll connect via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or FaceTime. You’ll walk me through your home (or a loved one’s home) while I observe the layout, furniture arrangement, flooring, lighting, and common activity areas.
Step 2: Real-Time Feedback – During the session, I’ll provide immediate suggestions on simple adjustments, equipment placement, and strategies to improve safety and ease of movement.
Step 3: Personalized Written Report – Within one week, I’ll email you a comprehensive summary of my findings, including:
Recommended safety modifications
Suggested durable medical equipment (DME) and adaptive equipment (AE)
Tips and tricks tailored to your specific needs, routines, and living space
The goal is simple: to help you and your loved ones create a safe, supportive home environment that promotes independence, confidence, and peace of mind.
